71  Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Swap Gallery in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by dinkime on: October 27, 2010 04:10:20 PM
so everyone should be jealous, and you will soon see why!!  although you will have to think in a mirror as i used my webcam to take these photos, lol

first was a letter from Ron (with some side talk from George) along with a WWW order form!

in the package i was to open first were some Luna quotes -- they will be very useful as bookmarks (and i can think of some other uses for them as well)

next was a slightly shaking box...what could it be?!!??

my own pygmy puff!!  i think i will name her molly Smiley

then i opened my own miniature truck (entirely made of paper!!)

that is complete with books, quills, parchment & a cauldron!

up next are some yummy looking chocolate frogs (they smell delish!) and some edible dark marks -- they are chocolate skulls with a gummy worm coming out of the mouth!  so creative!

then, a secret hiding spot book -- "Surviving Hogwarts" -- filled with some fun goodies -- bezoars, peruvian darkness powder, & dungbombs Cheesy

and now i am also ready to brave the cold for a good old quidditch game -- i have some house mittens!!  i have wanted mittens that i can flip the fingers back on (was someone reading my wist?? Wink)

and finally, the best was last -- my own RON!  i love Ron & this one is adorable!!  all dressed for class Smiley

THANK YOU!!!  thank you!!!  THANK YOU!!!

first are the inchies i created for the alphabet inchie swap (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=341706.0) -- these are the ones i created, and they are grouped by the technique i used for them, not by who they went to...this way everyone got a little variety from me Smiley

first are ones i stamped & embellished (glitter pen, bling, hand written letter, inked edges)

next are ones i inked the edges on, used a rub-on or patterned paper, & a hand written letter

then come scrap paper & hand written letters & inked edges

now is inked edges on patterned paper & foam letters

finally are stamped background, inked edges, stitch rub-ons & foam letters

79  tree & yarn stamps in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by dinkime on: July 01, 2010 09:09:46 PM
here is what i sent attienichole in the "be awesome swap" -- she has received, so i am going to post the pictures i have!!

i did a set of stamps -- a tree (which she likes) and a yarn ball since she is a crocheter...i then used the stamps to create a "logo" for her etsy & craft fair business...i stamped the logo on a square notepad & then created some thank you notes, too...

i drew both items freehand.

this was my first stamp carving, and i was THRILLED with it!!
