I made this hoop based on the movie Up, my first hoop I've made just for me.  Grin

Just wanted to show off the Halloween shadow bow I made my partner in the Mini 13 Days of Halloween Swap.

3  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 81 ENTRIES / Dia De Los Muertos Kitty on: December 06, 2012 02:19:57 PM
I made this hoop for a swap, my partner received today so it is now "safe" to post it as my entry.  Grin  It is needle punch and used lots and lots of embroidery floss.

Here is a close up of the face

I don't remember the size of the hoop, but here it is next to a can of soup so you can get an idea of how big it is.

4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Peppermint Butler Hoop on: September 23, 2012 05:07:00 PM
I am crazy in love with the show Adventure Time, so of course I joined the recent swap. My favorite thing I made was this Peppermint Butler hoop.

His shape is so perfect for a hoop, now I need to make another for my own hoop wall.  Grin
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Halloween Altered Altoid Tin on: August 07, 2012 03:50:07 PM
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing an altered Altoid tin in a Halloween theme? Like Zombies, haunted houses, ghosts, bats, witches, monsters, black cats or just Halloween in general.

Each person could name a couple Halloween-ish themes for their partner to pick from.

I was thinking shires/art pieces but you could also decorate the outside and fill with goodies depending on what your partner wants.

Also, would anyone want to organize? I'm not quite ready to tackle my first one yet.  Roll Eyes
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / My take on melted crayons on: May 22, 2012 08:12:40 PM
So after seeing lots of melted crayons pictures on Pinterest I decided I had to try it. Here is my version, it is supposed to be me, my boyfriend and our two Dachshunds.  Smiley

7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Glitter House on: March 01, 2012 07:58:14 AM
I got a few blank cardboard houses at Hobby Lobby to make a little glitter village. This is my trial run, I want to add stuff to the others like doors, bay windows, etc because all the houses are the same right now.

It also looks really cute with an electric tea light inside. Sorry for the bad pics, I need to build a light box soon!  Roll Eyes    Smiley
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Sugar Skull Guy on: January 06, 2012 03:13:33 PM
I finally got around to painting the blank little plastic guy I got in a swap. I decided to go with a Day of the Dead theme....

9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Mario Star Tree Topper on: December 10, 2011 05:13:09 PM
We were lacking a tree topper this year and since my son is obsessed with all things Super Mario I made this star.

It's all made from felt and was a very quick and easy project.  Grin
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Camera Case on: June 14, 2011 04:43:06 PM
I made a camera, camera case. It looks a little deflated without my camera in it, but it's the only one I have.  Cheesy

I've been meaning to make this FOREVER, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it really was.  Smiley
