1  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 52 ENTRIES / Sundress type thing. on: July 02, 2010 06:02:09 AM
So, this is my first time ever making something out of flat fabric. I usually am making t-shirt recons, so I was kind of excited when I saw the challenge for this month.

I found the pattern for this dress in a box of donated books at the library where i work. It wasn't in an envelop or anything so I'm not sure who to credit.  Undecided

I don't have any in progress picture. But here's the finished work.
(sorry for the bathroom mirror pics)

Both bedsheets were purchased at Walmart. The burgundy is a thick cotton top sheet, and the beige is a jersey knit top sheet. I just don't use top sheets. They get kicked off of the foot of the bed. Nice to have a use for them now.

C&C welcome. Good luck everyone.  Cheesy

3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Just a big stinkin load of adorable yarn things. (img chunky) on: April 26, 2010 07:23:50 PM
things that i've made in the past year and a half:

sorry for the photospam. i just figured this would be easier than uploading them in separate topics.
you'll notice that some of these are from the Super Happy Cute Crochet book. Get it at your local library, for sure.
All of the others have been collected through free patterns, purchased patterns, altered patterns. whatever.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / hat rampage. on: April 26, 2010 10:21:47 AM
After I've made a basket full of hats from other patterns, I decided that I would be able to design my own. And I did!
I've made three of them so far.

Here they are:

so... i made a tank for boyfriendy thing. no pattern, just kind winged it.

he was super stoked about it and made little tank noises while he pushed it across my shoulder. Tongue

and since i'm more of a lurker instead of a poster, i still have to post links. sorry Sad
Fixed it!

6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / little squirrel on: April 26, 2010 08:40:54 AM
So, I've seen all of those other paper cutting thingies that everyone's been doing. And they inspired me! I made one for my loverly boyfriend. I was really stoked because it was the first one that I designed.

Maybe it'll let me post pictures.. lets see...

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Anyone have any womens dress patterns? on: April 24, 2009 05:47:42 PM
Most of the patterns that I'm finding are knitted, and I'm stuck on crocheting.
I want to make an Alice in Wonderlandy looking dress. My friends and I are having a tea party whenever Tim Burton's version comes out, and I want to make my own dress, and apron patterns should be easy to find, just want the dress.

Anyone?

Thanks.  Cheesy
