This is awesome and I am sure she will/did love it!

I have a question....

What is the difference between the resin sold on Little Windows and the kind you get at your local CS in the big jug?

I have wanted to get started for the longest time with resin but just have not made the trip out to pick it all up.  Seems this stuff cures faster?  Any advise would be great!

Thanks!
Thanks!  She did love it, so I'm very happy.

I can't help with the LW resin question as I didn't purchase her resin.  I am interested to hear from those who have though.  It's a bit expensive, but if it's worth it/better than others, I'll give it a try.

Thanks everyone!  I love Little Windows - the woman who owns the company is really nice.  Super helpful.  There are video tutorials on her website for those looking to learn how.

The glitter paint I used is called Scribbles Dimensional Fabric Paint.

I cut out a little circle of transparent plastic (the kind you use in binders as folder separators) and painted on that, let dry overnight, embedded it in (pour half full, slide the painted circle in, push to bottom) and then covered with more resin.

I filed the edge a bit with a fine nail file (use a mask!) and then drilled the hole in the top by hand with a small Dremel drill bit.  I've since purchased the hand drill from the Little Windows site to make that easier until I can get a drill press for my rotary tool.

Hope that helps. Smiley
