At long last here are the pics of the great stuff I received from Katy Mai, it's all super.

The first thing I opened was this lovely little wooden tea light holder.  I love wood, and this is just gorgeous.

Then 2 gorgeous necklaces.  The hematite one is my absolute favourite, and I've already worn it several times. The other one is a lovely little brown brown glass heart.

Then there was this lovely art deco inspired silk painting.  Aren't the colours just gorgeous.

I'm sure you will agree they are fabulous, and once again I was spoiled by Katy Mai.  Thank you Smiley

That's nice to see my stationery in the gallery when I was just logging on to post pics of the super stuff I received.
Firstly the lovely hand dyed and stamped from Kanawinkie

Then some lovely notecards from Pancake67 with hand drawn and coloured 'whale tails'.

They are all lovely and I've already used some of Kanawinkie's paper.
Aren't they great Smiley

Sorry for the delay, but here are the cards I received from Kanawinkie

Coffs Harbour, Australia - the first to arrive, which surprised me; I thought it would be the one from either the USA or Canada.

and Aidenromantic - Virginia, USA

This afternoon I also received from Pancakes67 -Toronto, Canada

My photos afren't that good, but the cards are great.  Thanks all:)

Hi all, I should have posted these yesterday, but we had a minor home emergency to sort out.  No big deal and all is OK, so here are the photos of the fantastically generous package I received from KatyMai.

Firstly is this gorgeous felt and button tree needle book, with some gold plated cross stitch needles.  These are Katymai's favourite craft tool or supply #16

To go with this is the sweetest little tape measure. #28 - Something related to your favourite design/pattern.  Katy loves trees and in particular the tree motive.  Although she doesn't collect them she has a few 'tree items' around the house.

#17 Something related to yarn.  Katy loves this fluffy yarn with glitter, but doesn't knit or crochet. I have never worked with this, but have been curious to try.  She also sent 2 very pretty pot holders she made on her hand loom.  Not sure where I'll use them yet, but they are too pretty for pot holders, I really like these.

#31  Katy said she rarely tries a new interest (must be too busy making other beautiful stuff:) ), but her husband bought her a glass painting kit and she made me this.  These are lovely daffodils, national flower of Wales;  when I move soon I'll find somewhere for them and they'll remind me of the many happy times I had there.  Katymai wasn't very pleased with this, and said she wouldn't be offended if I put it in the bin!!! How silly, it's great - you should keep it up.

#24 Something related to your favourite game.  I received these super cute cross stitch Mario mushrooms.  Although I don't play games, I am quite fond of these little things and my daughter has a few about our home.  Although this is not her favourite game, she does play this with her husband, and the new Mario game lets them collaborate in order to get to different levels - which is something they can enjoy together.

#24 Something that represents your dreams/goals.  Katymai would love to be a published writer, and this little book represents that.   She hand painted it and put the text and motives on.  It's great, I'll use it for music notation - is plain pages (not manuscript), so is ideal for my scribbling.

#34 Katy  also sent a photo album with views from her home of the Forest of Dean, an the area she lives in now, Carmarthen in Wales.  There is also a really lovely photo of her dog Pip who looks very happy.

#22 Something related to your favourite jewellery item.  Katy sent me a photo of a pair of earrings she made - in silver, with purple heart crystals (I stupidly didn't photo the photograph!)    They are her favourite and she wears them all the time.  They are extra special to Katy as her husband bought the hearts as a 'just because' gift for her. She was going to make me a pair, but I don't wear earrings so she made me this lovely little bracelet. I feel very privileged to receive this, as the hearts are special to her.

Now for the jaw droppingly gorgeous necklace.  I couldn't believe it when I opened the packet that contained this, I was stunned.
Katmai's favourite colours are purple and green; she likes purple with silver and black, and that is what inspired her to make this.  I love hematite, and I also have lots of chunks of amethyst around the house, so this was just perfect, it is stunning and a very generous swap item.

Extras - a useful key ring from Carmarthen and the sweetest little felt butterfly.

I also got some scrummy ginger biscuits and some herbal treats for my rabbit and chinchilla.  Will post a few more photos later on, as they are on my mobile phone.

I'm sure you'll all agree this was one fantastic swap package, and I can't thank Katymai enough.

The frog apple looks great - why have an ordinary apple when you can have one that looks as tasty as that Smiley  What are the little fishy biscuits?

Norman will go on his merry way today, he stayed over the weekend to go to Wales.

Here he is at the secret venue - the one with the barber and the banker with the motor car.

Here's my goodies from ZombieCazz - lots of pics.

Lots of toys for my cat, Paul - he loves these already (except the Miffy one, I'm having that) The jelly fish is a particular favourite.

Detail of the books marks

2 lovely pot holders for my kitchen, with a little pocket on each.

There's some recycled fabric and a fantastic vintage crochet pattern, which I can't wait to try.  Will have to wait a few weeks though, as I'm in the middle of decorating and crafting stuff.

Thanks so much for all this, I love everything and Paul has already hidden his toys Smiley

OK, lets not give poor Norman a hard time. He got on well with Paul, my cat, who just wanted to cuddle and kiss him.

Then he wanted to play on the park.

Then he really went for it.  My daughter makes costumes, and Norman had a ball playing with the fans

and the shoes and other 'things' (burlesque pasties)

He does have a feminine side Smiley Smiley

Just wanted to stop in and say hi - I know I've been a little MIA.  It's really busy here and then rain that's really just getting on my nerves now...

Anyways wnated to let everyone know that we do have Schro - and she's doing fine.  I think she's longing to go outside just as much as I am!

Rain, rain, rain, we've had loads here recently but our weather is really strange - one minute it's cold, then warm and sunny, but today is cold and very windy.  Still Norman got to do loads - he arrived just the right time.

On the way to the craft market we met this gentleman outside a shop

Then we went to the Sealife Centre. Norman is a fearless little fella - must have been all those dinosaurs in Germany.

Then we went to look at some 'smaller' things.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day Norman had to challenge these guys.

I really don't think Norman should have gotten that close!!

We went for a nice relaxing walk the next day, will post photos tomorrow.
Hope Norman's enjoying himself.

Ruby's had a very busy few days.  We went to North Yorkshire to look for fossils - so Ruby needed to choose which hammer she wanted to use.

Good choice (please ignore my dusty fire place - it didn't look to bad in real life)
Look at Ruby's finds

We needed a rest then, and Ruby found just the right spot.

On the way home we stopped off to see all the new piglets.

There are hundreds, and all so cute following their mummy's around, but you can't really see them here.  Maybe we'll take James gnome  when he gets here, to remind him of home Smiley
