I got a golden retriever puppy about 2 weeks ago, and she's the cutest thing ever. Since she's a girl my fiance agreed to all the pink things I wanted to buy. But no clothes. But I just got a knifty knitter, and I just HAD to make her a sweater even though it's warming up. I thought she looked cute despite it being a little small due to my laziness. Questions/Comments/Suggestions welcome.  

So I recently purchases a Knifty Knitter because I've been wanting to knit. But it's never gone well in the past. I've found it addicting. I have made 2 hats, and a sock. Yes just one sock because it was huge, and I didn't want to waste more yarn. Currently Im working on a dog sweater for my puppy.

First Hat. It is just a simple baby hat done on the smallest (blue) loom. The flash made it shiny. But it is white with yellow, green, and blue.



Second hat. I worked on this as the same time as the sock. I found the yarn at the dollar store, sadly it was the only yarn in the entire store. But it was pink, and had little strings and silver things coming off.



The sock. It is Lion Suede in teal. It looks like green to me though. It is a soft and thick yarn. It'd make a great hat. I found the pattern here: http://yarngear.com/looms/projects1.htm.

So I'm getting married, probably this June. So I decided for my bridesmaids, and flower girls gift I would make them necklaces. I asked them all their favorite colors so I could incorporate them, and bought a special charm for each person. I used to make beaded necklaces as a kid, but I had never used wire for them, just elastic. I've only gotten 2 done so far. I like them, but I'd love to know what others think. Sorry for the poor picture quality as it's night here, and I used my fiances iPhone, my camera batteries are dead, and I'm too lazy to go charge them right now.

This is for one of my bridesmaids. She isn't a girly girl, and likes skulls, and black and such.


The Charm. There are 3 crystals on the skull.


The pattern. It is dark blue, black, and white beads.



This one is for my flower girl. She is 6 and like many little girls likes faeries.


The charm. Her wings are light pink crystals.


The pattern. For hers I used light pink, 2 shades of purple, and clear.
