2  I couldn't throw this shirt away. I  butterflies. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Aaurora on: January 20, 2007 11:36:47 AM
So, my Mum showed me a bag of clothes that were going to vinnies. And I spied this in there,

And I thought, hey thats a bit cute. Butterflies and all. And I want to start reconstructing again. Let me have this as a practise one.

So yes indeed it is not overly 'special' but I like it Smiley I was going to add straps in the green and white fabric....not sure if I should yet.

3  Thrift Store Pillowcase into Strapless Frill Top in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Aaurora on: January 19, 2007 10:37:59 PM
I really like this one  Grin

It cost a grand total of 50 cents and this is what it looked like before I attacked it...

And afterwards...It now has cute ruffles around the bottom and I ruched the back with a few rows of elastic to tighten it around the top.

Yup, I have a dirty mirror...we have sold our house and are moving next weekend so at the moment I am like...meh....

That hat rocks!!! I love the tape...

I also made a hat using a Simplicity pattern...

They are so much fun to make (but takes ages...)

I made this yesterday, it is by far the best Jordy I have made yet. I am so happy with it *proud*

My Mum got me the lace and the little roses for Christmas so I put them to good use Wink

This tutorial is fantastic. I made my first Jordy Bag on the weekend, here it is....

And I have made two more since! I have put medium weight interfacing in the bag so it's a lot stiffer now.

I love these bags! Thanks to Jordy for her tutorial and everyone elses beautiful bags for inspiration!
