1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Suggestion: Folders for organizing Photos on: March 16, 2009 10:54:12 AM
Please forgive me if this has been brought up in the past, I did a couple searches and couldn't really find anything similar as of yet.

First off, I'd like to say that having unlimited photo hosting is one of the best of many features I love here at Craftster! I have seen other posts mentioning about organizing of said photos for posting and what not, which brought this idea to me.

Suggestion Time!! Would it be possible to add folders you can name to group certain photo's together? I think it would be helpful when you are drowned in photos and you're searching for that one you wanted to use for a post. Plus you would be able to organize all your swap photos together as well. It would be useful I think to others who are viewing your profile for ideas for swaps, or just want to see some of the crafts you may have done.

So...there is is! I've only been a member since December but I love it here and I'm happy I found such a wonderful community. So I thought this would be a neat idea. If it is at all possible to adapt to Craftster. What do you think? Cheesy
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Glass Bead Bracelet-first beading project ever! on: March 02, 2009 12:49:15 PM
I am very new to beading, but wanted to test out my abilities for the first swap I was in so I created this! Since my partner has received I can finally show it off!

It's a 3-strand bracelet, made entirely of assorted glass beads with a simple silver toggle clasp. Please excuse the awesomeness of the lined paper background. Cheesy I hadn't bought any cardstock or anything to help with pictures yet.

Here is another image of the bracelet on a jewelry card I made to help suit it better for packaging.

and finally just a simple image of the bottom of the card the bracelet was set upon. It was made using black cardstock and super colorful pens.

It says "A Cabalistic Original". Cabalistic Crafts is what I plan to name my future etsy/related/whatever/shop (haven't decided which site to use yet >.<). Anyways, any comments and critique is encouraged and gladly accepted. Thank you for looking!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Mushroom and Free-form Hook Case on: February 28, 2009 09:30:59 AM
Alright this is my first time actually posting any projects, but once my partner receives I'll be posting a lot more!!

All my items are created using Red Heart yarn because well...I work 3 days a week so budget is key and I'm a newbie crafter with limited supplies. Wink I have been crocheting for about 2 months now and am very proud of the work I've accomplished so far...so without further adieu!

Free-form Hook Case: I created this out of a need, floating hooks in a bag is never a good thing I found out and figured what better way to practice then to make myself something! This is the second project I completed using stitches and seams I've found instructions for on the internet.

I can't for the life of me remember the stitch used on the seam but if I remember I'll be sure to link it!

Next is a Mushroom created using the tutorial by KristieMN: Mushroom Tut!

This was made for my mom's birthday. She's rather fond of orange (as I am myself Wink ) and since we're both Reds, green is always a favorite! Bottom stuffed with PolyFil. On to the Mushroom........

Thanks so much for looking! Any encouragement, tips, praise and critique strongly encouraged!
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Newbie Question regarding first time swappers on: January 22, 2009 10:05:03 AM
I've looked over all the information and tips and I could not see anything that clearly states this. So here is my question (please direct me to a faq, etc if I may have missed this).

I know that you must only participate in one swap if you are a first time swapper, however I have noticed in some instances that if you are an early sender/receiver etc you may receive feedback before the swap has been fully completed. Does this mean that you are allowed to join a second swap once you have received your Positive feedback or must you wait until the Swap is completely finished? As in, all partners have sent/received etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am one that likes to gather as much information as possible before participating so I have an enjoyable experience all around. Smiley

Thank you Cheesy
