From Sweetbettieleigh!

From WYOkrista!

Now for the individual Sins I have received thus far. Wink

From littlegreendragonfly!
Envy: It was a bit difficult to get a decent picture of the green eyed monster. Wink He must be shy in front of cameras.

From Velvet Rose, she included two pages one for each group we are in!
First is Sloth!

And finally Pride!

Thank you so much for all the pages I've received so far, it's so interesting to see how people are going to interpret the themes. I can't wait to see the rest of them. Cheesy

Here are the newest sets I have received!

First off is Rainbow Storms!
Unfortunately "the truth" was loose in the envelope so I wasn't sure which one it went too, I think the Clearly Unusual one is my favorite of this set. Smiley

Next up we have Malmow!
She stated Can't see the Forest was one of the first and her favorites, I'm rather partial to boots...so I have to say Butt Kicking Boots is right up my alley. Wink

And last but not the least...DaniQuee!
She included a 2 of clubs as well which I didn't get a picture of.
These are entitled "Ants, Mushrooms, Moon, !!!JTHM!!! (minus the !!), and Alice! First of all, I'm sorry to everyone else that I have received from thus far...but the Nny one is my favorite of the bunch to date.

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful inchies, I can't wait to see what they will look like all together!

I received from Katara today!! Since I don't have mine close to cutting yet when I opened the envelope I still could hardly believe how tiny they are. Cheesy

Group Shot:

It's time for your close-up Mr. Inchie! I love them all as they have so many different elements too them, and the textures were so killer I had to give close-ups. Thank you so much Katara!!

I still have absolutely NO Idea what I will be doing with them yet, but now I can't wait to see what the rest of my inchies are going to look like!!

Mmm Duel Speccishness and Argent Aspirant! Yay!

Now onto the pieces...

The first made by Spotnik and the background was made with an old Russian language textbook, which i thought was a very neat idea! The flower made from tissue paper and the center (swirly) is also made of thread but it was difficult to get a decent picture of it. Smiley

Onto Ralph's piece! The words were an awesome addition and I love the stamp images on it. The glaze was soooooo shiny and stuff, what did you use out of curiosity??

Thank you to both for such inspiring pieces, once I get the final piece I'm going to try to figure out how to fix my mistake and still display the pieces properly if I'm able. Cheesy

6  Re: Amazing Crochet Motif Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Wyked on: April 10, 2009 08:55:40 AM
So I happened to glance at my DC# this morning and saw it was processed in a local post office, low and behold I go out to the porch and there's my package!
So here are some more motifs from the lovely dsdiviny, she managed to get all my favorite colors in my motifs!!

First we have the red & black crew, snazzy no?

Now these ones are a bit washed out on my pictures, but the blue color is actually a beautiful purple! And I've been eying a yarn similiar in colors at Wal-mart, I might just have to grab a skein or two now!!

Orange & Black!! How could I not love these?

Another skully!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Thank you so much for your killer motifs, now if I can just figure out what I'm going to do with all these wonderful motifs I have. I'm so happy and these came out so awesome!

Thanks to both of you for your gorgeous color choices. I hope you enjoy your motifs as much as I covet my own. Cheesy

And dsdiviny, did you use a pattern for the spiraly one? It almost looks like Sc's on top of the square...though I'm still fairly new so I could be wrong. Cheesy Thanks again!

I've been curious while I was browsing patterns for motifs...what IS a trivet..exactly?

And now...Onto the pictures of the motifs from Cejaypi!

Thank you so much for the wonderful motifs! I can't decide on just one favorite so I'd have to pick the skull, spiderweb, and black & red one. Mind you I love them all~now just what to do with them...I can't wait to see the rest of them...and everyone else's too!

Such a great idea for a swap, I hope to see more in the future. Cheesy

Yay! I received today from MollieMoo and I feel like I was spoiled! I kinda wish I had done some more stuff specifically to True Blood now, but I'm just glad Tracy liked her things hehe...and now..onto the LOOT!! Warning: Excitedness cause Picture Heavyness!

I am such a dork, I have progress pictures...hehe

Voila! Your package has arrived!

A True Blood themed personal mirror! Oddly, I have no mirrors in my room at the moment so this is perfect!

What is this? Sookie hiding in the bottom right corner of the mirror?? The picture doesn't do this justice but the best I could come up with!

And another?? Yes, yes it's Bill hanging out on the left side of the mirror!

The next item I unwrapped were these bowls that were made with a purpose! In my letter from MollieMoo she explains what the colors of the bowls represent!
Black and Red is for Sookie & Bill, Yellow is for Tara, Purple for Lafayette (and what better color to suit him!), Blue is for Jason and a little Brown added for Sam.

I must say I couldn't have picked better myself, as you can see in the pictures they are also adorned with small round metal buttons.  Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy First is the smaller bowl, then larger.

And a group shot for size comparison!

Phew, I was absolutely giddy by this point, happily tossing paper and plastic filling everywhere and what do I find at the bottom? True Blood MAGNETS!! 10 of them!! They came out beautifully and I would love to learn how to make these.

And finally, a group shot of all my True Bloody Goodyness.

I am just completely in awe of everything, they are so well done and just Killer! Thank you SO VERY MUCH MollieMoo for making my first swap fantastic!!

A special thank you to Spookshowbaby for organizing this swap, it has been a wonderful experience and I can't wait to swap more. Cheesy

9  Glass Bead Bracelet-first beading project ever! in Beads: Completed Projects by Wyked on: March 02, 2009 12:49:15 PM
I am very new to beading, but wanted to test out my abilities for the first swap I was in so I created this! Since my partner has received I can finally show it off!

It's a 3-strand bracelet, made entirely of assorted glass beads with a simple silver toggle clasp. Please excuse the awesomeness of the lined paper background. Cheesy I hadn't bought any cardstock or anything to help with pictures yet.

Here is another image of the bracelet on a jewelry card I made to help suit it better for packaging.

and finally just a simple image of the bottom of the card the bracelet was set upon. It was made using black cardstock and super colorful pens.

It says "A Cabalistic Original". Cabalistic Crafts is what I plan to name my future etsy/related/whatever/shop (haven't decided which site to use yet >.<). Anyways, any comments and critique is encouraged and gladly accepted. Thank you for looking!

10  Mushroom and Free-form Hook Case in Crochet: Completed Projects by Wyked on: February 28, 2009 09:30:59 AM
Alright this is my first time actually posting any projects, but once my partner receives I'll be posting a lot more!!

All my items are created using Red Heart yarn because well...I work 3 days a week so budget is key and I'm a newbie crafter with limited supplies. Wink I have been crocheting for about 2 months now and am very proud of the work I've accomplished so far...so without further adieu!

Free-form Hook Case: I created this out of a need, floating hooks in a bag is never a good thing I found out and figured what better way to practice then to make myself something! This is the second project I completed using stitches and seams I've found instructions for on the internet.

I can't for the life of me remember the stitch used on the seam but if I remember I'll be sure to link it!

Next is a Mushroom created using the tutorial by KristieMN: Mushroom Tut!

This was made for my mom's birthday. She's rather fond of orange (as I am myself Wink ) and since we're both Reds, green is always a favorite! Bottom stuffed with PolyFil. On to the Mushroom........

Thanks so much for looking! Any encouragement, tips, praise and critique strongly encouraged!
