As far as i know this feature isnt available (if it is then kick me really hard...and maybe tell me how to get it) but sometimes when you see someones work it's cool to check out all the other things theyve posted, surely you can go into their profile and check out a gallery or something? Just an idea Smiley Dont bust me if there is a way you can do this lol

And the after:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Tali/IMG_1057.jpg

The singlet is just a plain white racerback i had lying around, for soem weird reason i decided it would be easier to cut the singlet up and only sew the bits a needed on...so only the strap bit and the insert down the middle is sew on....the rest is on my floor.
The red ribbon is just temporary, im hoping to buy some leather strips to lace through, and im ognna fix up the excess singlet material at the bottom.

First time i ever attempted anything harder than just taking in the sides of a shirt so comments please Cheesy
16  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / English crest tshirt recon/Syke recon on: November 13, 2005 09:14:52 PM
Im a bit upset i didnt take before photos...
Basically the navy blue top *was* a ginourmous XL mens tshirt that i got from an op shop for $3
Now its a funkilicious (or at least i reckon) asymmetrical (sp?) top. I did shorten it...but i wanted to keep most of the length so thats why its uh...long...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Tali/englishtop.jpg
The wider shoulder (theyr uneven on purpose btw) has a sort of knotted rouche detail that you cant see, ill try and get a photo of it up later if i have time.

This is a Syke top i got from the paper bag princess (2nd hand store that isnt as cheap ad normal ones, but also has more funkeh modern clothing) was a size 14 i think....paid $5
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Tali/syketop.jpg
the photo makes it look like the shoulder bits are a different width..they arent, i think its just the angle.
Sorry about that though (the angle)...i had the camera sitting on top of my couch leaning against the wall lol.

Anyways, comments?
Right now (at this very moment im putting more thread onto the bobbin so i can keep sewing) im doing another recon....this time a white singlet and a black pinstripe shirt....OOH im excited!!

P.S. sorry bout the big pics

18  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / CD and floppy disk candle holder!!! on: September 29, 2005 03:46:10 PM
Well yesterday i made a couple of bowls out of old cds and this morning i decided i should make more! (as you do)....so i've ened up with like....10 lol
Anyways, i found some clear ones that come at the top and bottom of the stack when you buy blank disks so i did them and they came out really funky i decided! The black bits (i dont know how well you can see then in the pic) are the insides of old floppy disks that i also meted in the oven...ive strung it all together with some red wire Cheesy It looks so much better in real life, the photo doesnt really do it justice Sad

19  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / film negatives lantern on: September 29, 2005 12:44:20 AM
Hey! I had a few films worth of negative lying around as i do photography at school and i feel bad just throwing them away so i thought id make a tealight lantern (im kinda obsessed with candles)
I used red metallicy wire (im not sure if you can see it in these pics) and a frame from what i guess used to be a tealight holder (it had the circular bit to put it into) that i found in the trash...

This one was taken in the day so its not too good, but you cans ee the wire a bit better i think:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/Tali/neglight_day.jpg

This one was taken at night, hehe arent all the shadows soooo pretty!?

20  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Plaster of paris torso... on: September 28, 2005 08:45:20 PM
I have a casting of a torso that i made of muslin cloth and plaster of paris, originally i inteded to  smooth it out and fill it up (its about 1/2 a cm thick) to make a coat hanger thing, but i kind of lost interest...
I hate to see it sittnig around with nothing to do! It took my friend and i almost a whole day to do it (she was the one being casted) so its a bit of a shame...
Any ideas!?
I'll try and figure out how to work the picture thing lol and get a pic of it up...
