1  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Some really cute pendants! on: July 19, 2010 04:57:59 PM
I made some pendants with scrap glass from my mom's (grobarka59) supply. I really only wanted to make the bunch of grapes, but was told I couldn't fire just that  Tongue so I threw these together!

My favorite! A bunch o' grapes:

Fluffy clouds:

Lil pink flowers (the stems are actually a very sparkly "aventurine" green):

Black flowers:

A chunky sun (some rays fell over!):

Grape Hyacinths:

The spheres for the grapes and hyacinths are irid cranberry and look like garnets in the light!

Thanks for looking!!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Pigs are people too! on: May 05, 2009 09:41:23 AM

With all this swine flu hysteria going around, people are vilifying the TRUE victims here: the piggies. I'm doing my part to bring attention to these poor oinkers.

I feel like it's a little empty, though. Should I add something inside the border?

Thanks for looking!
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Happy grapes, sad banana on: April 21, 2009 01:25:06 PM
So I got really excited and started and finished this today. It's a bunch of grapes laughing at the expense of this here banana.

Let me know what you think!
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Some happy cherries on: April 21, 2009 06:43:34 AM
So this was my first try at free embroidery. I think it turned out pretty well...

I got my image from this booklet type thing:

It's this old series from when I lived in France. I only have issues 2 and 3, and I can't find anything on the internet about it.  Sad
The cherries names are Grioti and Griota. I assume they always stand in that order, too.

So what do you think??
