Haha! That's fantastic! Now the real question - how did they taste?
3  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Re: List of charities and the crafts they can use! on: November 30, 2008 05:43:22 PM
Thank you, Lafemmefatale! I will add that to the list. It's actually pretty easy to edit a Wiki page... I just don't have it set up for open editing just yet.
4  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / List of charities and the crafts they can use! on: November 22, 2008 10:37:00 PM
Hi, everyone! I'm a long-time Craftster lurker and follower of this board in particular! Smiley

I love reading about causes that need donations but it's sometimes hard to figure out which ones can use my skills. I felt like a master list of charities and crafts that they need would be really helpful for this board, so I compiled one:

I thought a Wiki page would be a perfect way to make the list because it's easy to edit and share with friends who aren't members of Craftster. I hope it's helpful! Please let me know if you have any suggestions for additional charities/groups for the list.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Tutorial: iBook / Backpack / Boombox / Rabbit on: March 13, 2007 09:37:39 AM
This project is awesome. Smiley I love reviving stuff like this.

(What's more awesome, however, are the hilariously captioned photos on your website. I'm working my way through them all right now. Rock on. Smiley)
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: hip belt *Tutorial added* on: December 12, 2005 02:35:13 PM
I love this! I'm visiting Israel in 2 weeks so I'm going to make mine wide enough to hold my passport. Smiley Thank you so much for this awesome idea!

(I just had to resurrect this great craftster thread!)

8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / crocheted stuffed domo! on: December 20, 2004 11:11:33 PM
A lot of people have been posting their crocheted monsters, so I thought I would try my hang at it.

My inspiration is the Japanese character, Domo. I fell in love with a friend's large stuffed toy of him. Now, here he is pocket-sized.  Grin

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: *WHY* would you do this to an afghan??? Help! on: December 04, 2004 04:27:47 PM
I'm sorry!

If it makes you feel any better, MY kid sister waited until I was almost done with an afghan for her to tell me that she "really doesn't like yarn blankets".... this after i bought the yarn to make it for her as a suprise because she kept saying "oh my gosh, this would be the prettiest blanket!"

sisters! grr! Wink
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Camo Studded Dog Collar on: November 21, 2004 12:10:55 AM
He's adorable!

Oh man, this post made me A) want to crochet a collar for my dog, and B) get a pug ASAP.

Something about 'em is soooo cute and wonderful. Grin Smiley
