I also would like to learn how to "color change".  I've seen a couple of graphs on here for hats and I'm not sure how in the world you use a graph??  Apparently, there are a couple of methods, which is best for a hat?  I have absolutely no idea how to do this, but I would love to learn!!  Any advise would be appreciated.

I came across a hat with a picture crocheted in it that I thought was sooo cool!  The author of the thread gave a color chart, but I'm not quite sure how you use it or how I'm supposed to stitch this into the project!  Do I start and stop with each color that the graph comes to??  I feel like such a newb, can someone help me?  Thanks so much everyone!

I've been wanting to make this hat for months now...when summer came, I stopped crocheting.  But now that it's getting cold, I have no excuse not to take up once again with my old fav hobby.  Here's my finished version.




And my son was not to thrilled to model his sister's hat, but bribery of candy goes a long way with a 2 year old!

Absolutely amazing!  Very beautiful blanket, and I must commend you on your dedication.  I'm must too impatient for a project like this.  That's why I stick to hats...instant gratification...LOL, maybe I'll get to something like this, but I would probably never finish it, again great job!!

I love this!  Very awesome hat!  Is the bottom folded up?  Did you use bpdc or something like that to create the ridges in the bottom?  great job!!
