1  Simple double stranded beanie for hubby :) in Crochet: Completed Projects by krazygurlygirl on: January 25, 2010 06:29:41 AM
I made my husband a beanie he's been buggin me for for weeks...fortunately it stays cold here for long winters!  I used double stranded cotton yarn so it'll be super warm and oh so soft!  He even wore it to bed!  I think he likes it...

A co-worker of mine said she wanted a black beanie with hot pink somewhere in it...so I got to do whatever I wanted with it!  And here it is what I came up with...

Comments and cc's welcome!

I loved this hat from the moment I saw it...and I tried to make it according to a pattern by a poster by the name of dexterchikk (thank you so much btw!  Smiley  ), but I wasn't happy with it.  I think I got it right, but it just didn't look all that great on me...

so, I adjusted the pattern to make it more my style I guess with some wonderful cotton yarn I had been dying to use, but hadn't had any ideas for it...

5  Earflap hats! in Crochet: Completed Projects by krazygurlygirl on: January 09, 2010 07:14:31 AM
I had a co-worker make a couple of requests from me.  All she said was use blue, purple, black...go!  She said the same thing for the rainbow hat...I like having room to do whatever I want.  So with the black, purple, and blue hat, I put popcorn stitches where the blue stripes were and made the pom poms all multi colored...then the rainbow hat...i just couldn't think of anything super fabulous...so I think it came out a little generic...but she still liked them, so the purpose was served...any comments welcome!

6  Re: Ribbed Ear Flap Hat w/ Pom Poms! in Crochet: Completed Projects by krazygurlygirl on: October 12, 2009 08:25:58 AM
I've been wanting to make this hat for months now...when summer came, I stopped crocheting.  But now that it's getting cold, I have no excuse not to take up once again with my old fav hobby.  Here's my finished version.

And my son was not to thrilled to model his sister's hat, but bribery of candy goes a long way with a 2 year old!

7  Ribbed slouch hat with pom-pom in Crochet: Completed Projects by krazygurlygirl on: January 28, 2009 08:32:41 AM
I free handed these by candle light last night while my power was out (horrible ice storm) and came up with this.  I may not have to have back to work until Sunday, which is cool because I may have a few more pictures coming!  comments welcome!

8  Re: L.A.M.B Gwen Stefani inspired hat, help with pattern in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by krazygurlygirl on: January 26, 2009 01:32:31 PM
Alright, I saw the picture of this hat and fell in love!  Here's my rendition...

I'm lovin' this pattern!  This hat is awesome.  I love the tams, but they don't look super great on me, but I'm so into the slouchy hats.  This is perfect for me!  Thanks for the pattern!!

9  two free hand scarves, added one: now three scarves! in Crochet: Completed Projects by krazygurlygirl on: January 20, 2009 08:49:25 AM
I got a couple of requests for scarves with specs, so I free handed them and I think they turned out okay.  The green and black striped one was a pain in the butt, so I've learned quite a bit about what I like about making scarves and what I don't.  Comments and crits welcome!

10  Pom-pom hat! in Crochet: Completed Projects by krazygurlygirl on: January 17, 2009 01:05:22 PM
My good friend and her son came over to see me last night, and I promised her I would make him a hat while they were there.  I got done in enough time to watch a movie with them!  I think Nik liked his new hat.  He wouldn't take it off!
