i'm thinking of making the following dress:


does it looks like a tube dress and a shrug sewed tog?
any suggestions on what type of fabric to use? i was thinking of using t shirt fabric so that it will be stretchable...

ok, well this is my first attempt at reconstructing stuff.. i apologise for the low quality photos  i was inspired by all those nice yet expensive clothes the teens in my country wear. since i didnt  want to spend $40 on a skirt and $50 or a shirt, i made these!
the shirt was free (i went to the thrift store to buy some other stuf like the bias tape and saw this shirt.. the person gave it to me for free since there was no pricetag..) but too big at first so i cut it up and took away 1 sleeve and added bias tape( is it called like this?) to the ends of the collar and sleeve area..behind the shirt is the logo of a radio station i think someone gt it then discarded it at the salvation army..
the skirt was made from a pair of too large pants i found lying around in my house.
so the total cost: $0.70 for the bias tape

o ya i gt 2 polyester fabric..can anyone tell me what's e difference between it and normal fabric? also what can i make with them? i was thinking of using the curtain fabric to make some mini curtains and hang them on my book shelf. thnkz
