1  Re: Bento Swap Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ShesAZombie on: May 30, 2010 02:26:46 AM

I received from Bug Pop! Feast your eyes Cheesy

First, here is my lovely new box. I was actually going to buy this exact one a few weeks back, but managed to resistgood job I did! It has cutlery, silicone cups, and tiny fish shaped sauce bottles.

Next is a bento a to z each letter has a bento food item, and an illustration so cute!

I mentioned that I liked tiki tiki, but never imagined that she would get tiki theme into a bento swap! I was amazed when I found this insulated bag that she has stitched a tiki idol on to... I cant wait to use it!

Carrying on the tiki theme, a tiki offerings necklace and a tiki matchbook. Also, a colour changing egg timer, some mermaid chopsticks (LOVE these!) and three lovely kitty cat cards that she made

Here are all the yummy snacks she sent me. I will just say that there were also some crackers, some milk sweets, some biscuit sticks with strawberry dip, and a fortune cookie that didnt quite make it to the photo shoot.

Thanks so much BugPop, youve been an amazing partner Smiley

....round 5?? hah  Wink

I finally received my angel package from BirdieSays!!! it was totally worth the wait, she spoiled me rotten! Cheesy

feast your eyes on this  Wink

First is a Miss Bunny set - Miss Bunny is a disney character that i hadnt yet come accross (but i LOVE disney!!) after a bit of digging, it turns out that she is the girlfriend of Thumper (from Bambi)

There is: a large food container, a medium food container, and two smaller clear ones. A large bag and a medium bag, a spoon and a fork, and some chopsticks! so cute that i squealed Cheesy

Next are some Miss Bunny sauce containers... i needed these so badly!! Cheesy There are 4 larger ones and 6 smaller ones. Also, a banana holder which has love heart holes punched into it. super cute!

Next up iiiiiss....bags Smiley a big flame one, and two little ones - cherries and skull & crossed needles (cute and crafty. perfect!)
also, two pairs of chopsticks - a red one with gorgeous gold fans on, and a black pair with lucky cats on. I collect lucky cats and im not quite sure how she knew, but i love this pair best of all!

last but not least, penguin and tulip hot dog shapers ( i cant wait to try these out!) a set of alphabet cutters and a rice mould that can make bunny, bear, star or flower shapes.

4  Re: Repo! the Genetic Opera Swap 2! in The Swap Gallery by ShesAZombie on: December 04, 2009 02:48:52 PM
got distracted...sorry!

Heres the goodies i got from annachronism:

first off, needle into a bug themed loveliness - its a gorgeous beetle bag made from lovely green silky fabric. (its currently keeping my digital camera safe, dust free and stylishly stored.) and then a bug cameo pin cushion. It ties round your wrist with ribbon, so you can litterally stick the needles into a bug - genious!

then an amazing blind mag sleeping mask. Its so fantastically grusome, with it's one eye. I love the blood spill. Its lined with soft silky fabric, so its really comfortable to wear, but it will just be for decoration, sadly, as my cats try to hunt the feathers while its on my head if i try to wear it. bless.

Then, crochet stuff! Its a ridiculously cute coffee cup, a la Luigi, and on the back it has two ticky-box things like on starbucks cups - but which one is decaf!? id better not get it wrong or i might get a bullet to the face Grin
Inside was a crochet Gentern bracelet - white with a red heart - that i have barely taken off since it arrived (didnt think it would survive the shower!), and a blue necklace with a red heart (it looks greenish on the pic for some reason: it really isnt!) - the blue is zydrate flowing through the heart.

I was well and truly spoiled - look at all the extras! its gummy horror sweets, a chocolate skeleton lolly [that is no longer with us hehe], a pen that looks like a syringe, and two zydrate blue glow sticks.

thank you so much for everything!! i love it all. And im not the only one *gratuitous blurry action shot alert* kitty cat loves it too

hey all! better late than never... sorry it took a while, but i wanted to wait until i had all three packages for you to feast your eyes on. and what a feast it is!

Heres what i got from greenfaerie :

its - an AWESOME reconstructed disneyworld apron, made from a kids dress she found, a gorgeous recipe box, with lovely printed recipe cards inside all organised with dividers, and even containing recipes,  a super shiny magnet and a set of dyed utensils, with woodburned details. i tried to take a better pic below, its a little blurry, but each one has a pattern round the handle and a tiny 'B' (for Becky) burned in the bottom

Here is what i got from mysticflower:

its 6 super cute felt and bead cupcakes that made me squeal with glee when I opened the package. theyre too cute for words! two gorgeous embroidered pieces, one sailor/tattoo themed and one tiki tiki themed - my two favourite themes! they are soooo beautifully done. Also, she made me a cute felt flower that has a multitude of uses, but has found itself tied to my cats collar, coz she took a shine to it and stole it as soon as it was out of the box!

and here is what i got from geckochan:

its an apron that she found in a thrift store and sent as an extra, a crocheted flower design potholder (although its found use as a candle holder stand and looks great), an unbelievbly fantastic picture of me as a tiki pin up (sooo in love with this!) and some beautiful crocheted cupcakes with beads for sprinkles/the cherry. gratuitous closeup to follow!

thank you all so much ladies!

xoxo
