191  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Why not GoDaddy for hosting? on: January 07, 2005 09:09:53 PM
i was lucky with my domain.
i'm registered at godaddy, since the prices seem good for it.
but as for my hosting, i'm actually what's called a "parked domain"... my friend has a plan that lets him have like, a million domains. ok, not a million, but a lot.. so, using my server info, he actually hosts me domain on his plan. good deal if you know someone who already owns some web-hosting and has good bandwidth/space. then you could always split the cost or something.

mother was not so happy. lol.

I had been working on prototypes the past few days for valentines.  I finished the final sets of my optimistic & pessimistic valentines tonight!  Smiley

There are seven cards in the Pessimistic Set and six cards in the Optimistic Set.  I only printed out one of each set, and will be printing out the rest as needed.  In addition, I printed some matching stationery.  Each set has four pieces of paper (two optimistic, two pessimistic) and two envelopes.

All cards and stationery are printed on white cardstock.  The cards measure 4.25" x 2.75" (folded), and the stationery measures 5.5" x 7.5".

& i know -- i didn't even think about extra games / accessories when i made my first bag either. i have had them just sitting in a small plastic bag, so it was about time i did something about it.

i wish i had the pink gba. lol.

hi Smiley
i just posted my own version of their Peppermint Mocha:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=20369.0

and actually if you google for the names of their drinks, you can find a lot of recipes. googling for "pumpkin spice latte" and "gingerbread latte" bring up some of their holiday stuff, and i've seen frappucino recipes and the like online as well.

I did this tutorial for the lovely ladies at the craftgrrl community on livejournal, but I thought all of you here at craftster would enjoy this as well.

My wallet wasn't so happy with me constantly spending $3-4 at Starbucks for my latest addiction (their Peppermint Mocha), so I started making them at home instead.  We already had the coffee, and all I had to buy was creamer and candy canes, which totaled to ab out $4 but there is enough to make a lot of coffee.  Smiley

Enjoy! Smiley & Happy Holidays!
