1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cupcake Scarf on: November 23, 2007 11:15:47 AM
So for some reason I'm on a total cupcake crochet binge. I made a scarf to match the cupcake hat I posted on here a while back:

2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Not so edible Cupcakes on: November 14, 2007 02:48:32 PM
*edit*

Sorry guys, but due to the insanely large amount of people blantanly copying and selling my cupcake soap design, I feel that it is  best for me to remove this post. I know there is always a chance with someone copying anything you put up on Craftster, but honestly I was just so proud of these soaps that I just wanted to SHARE them, not have people make profits off of my ideal.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / My very first (yummy) hat! on: October 21, 2007 10:29:50 AM
I've been crocheting off and on for about 3 years now but all I've ever made were single crochet, straight scarfs. BORING! This is my very first non-scarf items. Woot!

I was suprised it took less time to make than it usually does for a scarf.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Moon Kite Striped V-Neck with HUGE gathered Sleeves on: October 18, 2007 11:37:57 AM
Okay, this is yet another Threadless.com tshirt reconstruct, and by now you probably think I have a box full of threadless shirts. Well, you'd be right.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Robot Bunny Shirt with Collar and Puff Sleeves on: October 16, 2007 06:33:55 PM
I always fall back on Threadless.com shirts when I'm feeling uninspired. I had this 2XL shirt and I added a faux peter pan collar to the front and gave it puff sleeves with original tshirt binding. I kept the original length to make it a tunic too.

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Punk Lumberjack Houndstooth Hoodie on: September 30, 2007 11:31:28 AM
I have also loved this plaid lumberjack fabric because of the hat Little Pete wears in "The Adventures of Pete and Pete". The only thing is that it can kind of look too manly and too 1994 if not used properly.

SOOOOO I lined the front with a black/white houndstooth, used it around the bottom, sleeves, and hood to give it some mixed print contrast. And I officially LOVE 2-way zippers.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Punk Red Leopard Glamour Dress - PIC HEAVY on: August 17, 2007 10:51:08 AM
I've been making bags and wallets for the last week and I was getting pretty bored with it all. SO I made something a little out of the ordinary to spice up my sewing:

It's made using red leopard stretch velvet and black knit for the straps.
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Ceramic Mini Wall Plaques on: August 07, 2007 04:39:13 PM
So here are some small little owls that I hand cast and painted. They measure appox 3"x2" and they have a metal hanger on the back so you can mount them on the wall.

I painted them in colors inspired by 70's kitchens. I think they would look good staggered or grouped together.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Brown Leopard Babydoll Dress on: August 05, 2007 10:02:09 AM
I'm so happy with how this dress turned out. I thought it would take forever to ake since there were gathers on each piece that I cut out - but it only took an hour!

I love the sleeves the best. They have elastic in the hem so they look puffy but aren't all tight on your arm. My mom says it looks REALLY short but that's what a babydoll dress is right?

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Multi-Hearts Gathered 'Built By Wendy' Tunic on: August 03, 2007 11:23:53 AM
This is the first Built by Wendy pattern that I've been absolutely satisfied with the finished project. It was super easy and only took about an hour to sew.
