1  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / SnB Go Go Garter Stitch Scarf- Joining New Yarn Question... on: December 17, 2008 10:31:16 AM
I am a knewb, and I am trying to get the hang of the joining of new yarn to make a stripe.
When I tried it the first time, I went from having 25 stitches on my right needle to having 33+.
It may be the second yarn I'm using, as it is slightly different than the main color.

Any tips for making sure that you keep the right number of stitches when working with two different colors?
