1  Fish and turtle bags/clutches in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ocean_static on: January 22, 2010 11:41:57 AM
So after lurking for about 2 years, I'm finally making my first post and sharing some of the results of of all the inspiration I've gathered from you lovely folks!

I made these little guys for two of my friends for Xmas last year- there were a few animal-based bags that were featured awhile back (like a fish pencil case) that caught my eye, and since my friends and I are all ocean-nerds I decided on creating clutches in the shape of a sea turtle and a fish for them.

I wanted to make them big enough to be used as a clutch or small bag, so I based the bodies off of Amy Butler's Stash and Dash Bag pattern with a little modification for the fish to make it more pointy.  I added on the extra details, came up with the straps, and ta-da! I hope you like them!
