Here is the beautiful piece I got the other day. Sorry it took so long to post. I hope the picture does it justice, the colors are so bright and its amazing how much detail is in such a tiny piece of art. Thank you so much!
Hello all! So I received from my swap angel erica_tattoos on Saturday!!! She was so speedy in getting this to me. She made this cool 3D altered wall hanging. She made it on a kitchen cupbored door It's a painted and mod podge cross with all these cool buttens and things glued all around. So without further adieu here it is!
Here is a close up!
Thank you erica_tattoos! Its super awesome. Now to figure out the perfect place for it . . .hmmm.
Well, It looks like I was flaked on. But its all good because our lovely organizer has taken care of it with the speed of a thousand gazelle's So I shall post the picture I sent to my partner. She wanted some coffee art for her kitchen in red cream and brown tones. I made her a collage out of scraps from magazines and filled it in with my markers and paint. So here is my lovely.
Thanks for looking. Every ones doing such a great job. Its amazing how many different types of wall art there is here.
Here is my entry! Ive been doing these collage's for a while now and this is my Valentine's one. It is made on a 8 1/2 by 11 piece of watercolor paper. I first use a wash of paint for the background color then glue down pictures and patterns from old magazines (I just love replacing heads with animal ones lol) Then I alter the images with markers, pens, pencils, and whatever else I can find. I seal in everything with a coat of mod podge. The quote is by Robert Browning.
So a few years ago I found craftster while searching for free purse patterns. Fast forward to now, and I'm a lover of all that is craftster! I found the courage to make things for myself, and then to make things for others through craft swaps. Which in the end gave me the courage to sell my other work. Thank you to all of the wonderful people who so thoughtful share their creations on craftster everyday. So with that being said I wanted to share my latest purse. Its a gift for my mother-in-law. I make the handles out of nice leather belts I find at goodwill.
I received from Giddiup222 today. It is so amazing. I was really blown away. It is so me, which is impressive because I didn't give my partner much to go on as far as what I wanted. The first picture is of a picture that she used as inspiration, and an art book that so my style.
Here is the quilted wall hanging. Its so bright and colorful.
Here's a shot with my daughter so you can see the size. THANK YOU GIDDIUP222
Just wanted to share my latest collage. I made if for my sister and her husband. I used cut up magazines, a glue stick and a bunch of markers. The style of collage I learned from Teesha Moore's videos on you tube. I just love them!! The quote is not my own, my sister found it online. Im not even sure I know what it means!
So I just wanted to share a few I made. One was for a swap and the other is a picture before I added the lettering. I decided to make each one a separate piece instead of a journal. They are each about the size of a standard sheet of paper.
