I can't wait to see the finished product. 

I love making postage stamp quilts.  I made a dragon and a butterfly quilt this year.  I don't know why I love working with such small pieces but I do.  My butterfly quilt is quite large.   Most people think I am crazy for sewing such tiny pieces but they are fun.

I would definitely sew the circles down.  Just do a blanket stitch around them.
