I love making squid! Let me know anytime you want to do a personal swap. Small ones make great tree ornaments/key chains.

I LOVE those rainbow stitch markers and the blocks!

I am still here, my baby ended up coming 10/10 and needing a short hospital stay so I've been housebound. Sending to sparks tomorrow when husband is home to help with the post office trip. Baby picture as proof and apology for late sending:

Baby Ariadne and squid both made by me. Smiley
23  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Adorable baby bonnet and boots on: October 18, 2013 12:57:17 PM
Thanks! My friend crocheted the blanket for her. Her name is from the Greek myth of the Minotaur. She was his sister. It sounds like air-ee-add-nee.
24  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Fauxthropologie Fox Stole on: October 18, 2013 06:35:46 AM
Awesome! Did it take so long because of the pattern, or just being busy? Not sure if I should cast on or not.
25  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Adorable baby bonnet and boots on: October 18, 2013 06:26:17 AM

My baby Ariadne is a week old and finally wearing the knits I did this summer. The bonnet is herehttp://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/simply-seamless-cap

And is a great pattern! I embroidery a tiny Chicken on it based on a vintage bonnet I saw. Caron simply soft yarn.

The boots were a little tricky to keep track of rows, but they stay on, which is rare in boots! Patternhttp://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/baby-boots-4

Lion sock ease in Lemon drop.

I claim sparks for dryer balls. Been wanting  some myself so I will do a bunch! First claim, 0 sent, 0 received.

Hi! I'm Shannon. I'm 29, and I live in Colorado with my husband, two cats and five chickens. I'm an English teacher currently on maternity leave: our first baby is due Oct. 11 and I can't really move around anymore, so I'm lying in bed and wanting to craft!

I have a special love for Orange ragdoll cats, buff Orpington chickens, fat positive/body acceptance culture, fairy tales and myths, Mystery Science Theater 3000, coffee, red wine, sour Candy.. I hate pink, purple and puff paint, I love glitter, metallics, geometric patterns, the colors mint, mustard, red, grey, black and aqua. I like chevrons, stripes and damask, as well as Indian (the country) patterns and aesthetics.

For baby:

27  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: 2012 Winter Holiday Crafting Lists! on: October 07, 2012 12:06:36 PM
brilliant idea!
28  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: 2012 Winter Holiday Crafting Lists! on: October 07, 2012 09:32:51 AM
It's basically a book made of ziploc bags with a fabric cover that rolls up. You fill it with things you might need in any sort of emergency, hence the "in a pickle" idea...bandaids, spot remover, safety pins, pen, wipes, chocolate..you can tailor it to the recipient. I plan to spend about $40 at the Dollar Tree and Walmart and make ten of them.
