Did anyone suggest masks of horned animals yet? Rabbits would work, too.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I hoped there was some sort of witchy swap happening, and I'm excited to find this one. I've never yet celebrated any of the wheel of the year festivals apart from Yule, but I'd love to start.

I look forward to learning from and crafting for you!
13  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: 2014 Winter Holiday Crafting on: November 25, 2014 06:50:11 AM
I spent some time making a Shutterfly photo book of my daughter's first year for her grandparents, great aunt and great grandma.

I really want to try some tub tea this year. I need to find some lavender. I have roses and mint I grew myself. That will be for one friend and for me!

I'm making a crocheted cat doll with knitted clothes for my baby, along with a foldable cardboard playhouse and a stocking.

I don't know about my brother.

Maybe knit my sister some slippers...maybe she would like tub tea as well.

I can't think of anything to craft for my husband this year. I guess that's OK.

Oh wow---I'll definitely be watching for a round 2!
15  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Snowy owl ornament on: December 22, 2013 07:04:43 AM
Inspired by owls from a broken link at loobylu for which I could not find a pattern.

I made it from a ball shape, a triangle, two circles and two leaf shapes. It's for an ornament swap party, but I want to keep it!

I love the watch badge! Definitely pinning that.

I have received from our fearless leader!

First up, a Seamstress Guild t-shirt: Often licked, never beaten! That's the spinach right there. A book necklace with a tiny metal-stamped OOK! (loves), and my FAVORITE: A shrine to Anoia, Goddess of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers!

It has a tiny metal spoon in the shrine itself, and a wee drawer with a padlock and key in it, for the opening of said stuck drawers! I LOVES IT. The details! They slay me!

Thank you so much, lady4feet! You rock!

So glad you like it! I learned to draw skulls because of this, doubtless a skill that will serve me well in future for reasons. Smiley

I got a fierce necklace from Anna! She also included glitter in all the colors I love. Thank you!

Haha! No, I meant as an air dry clay substitute, not for prints specifically. Wink
