1  FIBER ARTS / Weaving: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knitters Loom on: May 18, 2013 05:50:25 PM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa1WrHOTjxY (tutorial for warping up the rigid heddle loom by Ashford-- not the same but very similar)

Google rigid heddle weaving and you'll come up with a lot of good sites.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Re: burnt WHITE clay :( on: September 14, 2007 05:05:14 AM
Are you serious you put them in an easy bake?

Try sanding them a little and see if it'll take the crispiness off.

Super cute and so perfect. (I want to eat the donut!)

I love the penguin, too bad he warped.

I was stuck with sculpey 3 for a while (before switching to premo, and when I have some extra cash I'm going to upgrade to kato) what helped me was to put the clay in the freezer between pieces. It didn't totally stop the distortion but made it tolerable.

Great work.

Lovely. I like the embossed leaves but they are all very nice pieces.

Very cute.

Your camera might have a pre-focus for macro (I have a cheap camera and it took me forever to figure out that you have to tap the button only 1/2 way down and it'll focus, then full down and it'll take a decent pic.)

Great idea (and way better than the ones from the craft store that look like old lady gear.)
