Nice idea here, with cute results!

Though I am a little confused about the Lost Boys reference. I think maybe you mean Santa Cruz? I live in the Bay Area (and even lived a couple months in Santa Cruz) and remember being really excited watching the movie because the sets were all really familiar to me. Or maybe you're making another reference? I'm not sure.

But the shirts are nice! I don't want to stir up trouble or make this post about something it's not. D:

Couple new pages!

Not sure if I'm going to add to the one on the right. The photo on the left I took at the beach the other day. The waves were enormous!

I might do something to the page on the right, but I really like the simplicity of the handprints over the text.

Must truck on. Smiley

I couldn't resist. I just discovered the wonderful world of altered journals last night. So, this morning I set out to my local Michael's and picked up some Mod Podge, acrylic paint and new brushes. I grabbed a book from Donate-to-Saver's bag (happened to be Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer; I think this will be a vast improvement to say the least) and set to work.

I'm absolutely addicted. Since I'm on a not-sewing kick, it's wonderful to have something through which my creative urges can vent. Just started, but we'll see how far I get.

Front cover.

Spine.

Back cover. I didn't mean to glue the image on upside down, but I rather like it that way. Smiley

Inside cover.

First page.

I have absolutely nothing to do tomorrow, so I plan to work on it almost all day.

Wow! That looks wonderful! And so much recycling in its construction. Smiley

Holy awesomeness Batman! This makes me want to get out that book compartment I started last night and keep on trucking with it. This is truly astounding. Smiley

I love it! I've just started my own altered journal. It truly is addictive, you're right. Smiley

I remember making a small notebook using that same method in middle school. Too bad I didn't realize its full potential and craft it up  back then. lol

This is really cool. I love the key. I adore keys in general.

This looks really great! I myself am trying to get the hang of this kind of design.
