1  H G Wells Box in CHALLENGE 86 ENTRIES by Bakeneko on: May 07, 2013 08:33:45 AM
This is a wood burned box I am made for a Warehouse 13 swap with NightOwl21. I never post my swaps in the regular threads afterwards.  I thought this turned out really nice.  It is H.G. Wells.

4  wildlife silhouette pendants in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Bakeneko on: August 14, 2012 07:39:57 PM
I made some wildlife silhouette pendants the other day.  They are my favorite things I have etched since I moved to Michigan.  A nice deep smooth etch.  I think it was because the weather was so hot. I am going to try a hot water bath for my etchant solution now that it has cooled off a bit.

5  puffin necklaces in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Bakeneko on: August 10, 2012 08:16:39 AM
I spent quite a bit of time watching the puffin cam this year

Which is probably why I made so many puffin necklaces.

7  Necklace center pieces in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Bakeneko on: July 01, 2012 07:22:02 PM
I realized last night that I have not posted any of the metalwork I have made since January 2010.  So here is some stuff from the winter of 2010.

Here are some earrings

These are necklace center pieces a lady contracted me to make for her.  They were not all successes but they are good examples of the technique.
