This is pretty easy to make and it's pretty cute too.  =D  However, do you know if there's an easier way to poke the pin through without having it diverge to the side?  I was having a problem with that.  o.o'

i made these about 2 years ago. the main ingredients i used were felt and a hot glue gun. i think better glue is in order, though, because the glue comes off the glass with just a tug. they were pretty simple to make, though i think since i used glue most of the time (only sewed when making the skirts), fustrations occured when things that weren't supposed to stick together did. i also made one with just a name on it since i didn't know what to make for her. =)
