1  More Soap Cakes Anybody? in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by Jozi on: May 23, 2007 03:31:20 PM
We've been making soap cakes for a while now and thought I would share them with you all. Smiley

This one that's being cut was from when we had the grand opening of our shop. (That's my hubby in the hot pink along with the deputy mayor in back and our MLA in front).

Here is one of three chocolate cakes we did for a volunteers' tea. We sliced them and "served" them in the clear bakery clamshell containers, on a hot pink napkin (our signature colour, if you couldn't tell. LOL)

This is a Butter Rum Candy Cake topped with Red Rosebuds.

We just sold this Apple Pear Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Soap Curls. It left by plane for a wedding in Montreal last Friday.

This one is Tart Cranberry & Lemon topped with dried Lemon Slices. It's currently in my shop window along with the Butter Rum Candy Cake, a Spice Cake "cake" and another one that I forget right now.

That's all the pics I have here. The camera is at the shop with the newest cake pics on it.

I hope you enjoyed looking!

2  Re: postage stamp necklaces... (tutorial added.) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Jozi on: February 23, 2006 07:00:49 PM
I have finally gotten all the supplies together to try this and I love it!
Here are mine. The pics were cut out from some 1950s home and fashion magazines I have.
The first one I made is the one on the right with the ribbon & dog pic.

The second pic is the other side of the same pendants.

I will probably eventually place some of these in my etsy shop but the doggie one I am keeping for myself.

Thanks for the great tuts and pics.
