4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: simplicity dress (my toughguy hubby helped make this! d'aww!) on: July 15, 2009 03:21:21 AM
Great dress. All that work was worth it. My hubby can now do all my straight stitching on our dresses, which comes in pretty handy during craft show season. Men are amazing where little girls and money are involved

That is a cute model you've got there. And the apron seems like it would be just thing for a gift as well. Thanks for the inspiration.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / New Dresses And Learning That Everything Doesn't Have To Match..... on: June 23, 2009 09:10:53 AM
So I have been trying to improve my dresses and I keep wanting to have everything matching all the time. So I am trying to not do that as much. Here are a two dresses that I have tried this with.

The first one is all different patterns in the same color scheme and the other is just insane I am not sure if I get the hang of this yet. I want to try and expand my designs and I am just not sure how you guys all come up with such great fabric combos. Let me know what you think,

Thanks
