2  New Dresses And Learning That Everything Doesn't Have To Match..... in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by pickyourpocket on: June 23, 2009 09:10:53 AM
So I have been trying to improve my dresses and I keep wanting to have everything matching all the time. So I am trying to not do that as much. Here are a two dresses that I have tried this with.

The first one is all different patterns in the same color scheme and the other is just insane I am not sure if I get the hang of this yet. I want to try and expand my designs and I am just not sure how you guys all come up with such great fabric combos. Let me know what you think,

Thanks

3  Skull Apron Dress With A The Cutest Four Year Old Model in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by pickyourpocket on: April 28, 2009 05:49:45 AM
Hi All! I just got the pictures back from this little angels mama. She is the most amazing photographer. The dress looks like it fits her well although I kind of wish I had used a better contrast between the dress skirt and the apron you can't really tell where one starts and the other begins. Comments are always welcome and thanks to all the help I've received from you guys in the past!

Hi! I have recently gotten some pictures back from people who had received them. This is some of the work I am most proud of. Love to hear any thoughts about them.

Easter Dress for this young lady. Her mom won it on a giveaway I did for the i heart handmade show

This dress was for Kerri's daughter over on Cafe Handmade

These two were done for a personal swap

Thanks for allowing me to share. I hope you all have a great day!

5  New Dresses I've Been Working On in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by pickyourpocket on: April 10, 2009 06:01:19 AM
Hi one and all. I have been sewing up a storm and wanted to share my work with all of my great craftster friends and thank you for all of the help while I was drafting the patterns.

The second question I wanted to ask if I may.....I've had some people ask about matching dresses or tops for moms. Are these things moms would wear????I was thinking of drafting something like an apron top or maybe a pillow case top but would you dress like your child???

Thanks for letting pick your brains (again) and I hope everyone has a great weekend.

6  Just started making.....a mess? Pictures included in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by pickyourpocket on: January 07, 2009 10:45:49 PM
Hi! One and all. I have just started making girls dresses which is a great departure from the bags I've been making forever. I was going to give some as eater gifts but, wasn't sure if I was being hyper critical or if they really do seem to be a little over the top? Any comments would be appreciated
