1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Glittens! on: March 15, 2011 05:14:53 PM
Alright, I finally found the patterns I used.

This one was used for the base of my mitten:

Then once I got past the thumb I knitted 2 more rows and began knitting half a row following the pattern and the other half with waste yarn for two rows.  I then completed the mitten.

I went back and took out the waste yarn, putting my needles back through the stitches and using this pattern:  https://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dhd26ktg_5r4nkxz&pli=1

Hope that helps!  If you make some be sure to post them Smiley

Thanks!  The penguin hat was actually the one I didn't use a pattern for at all.  Haha!

Maybe I will write one up for ya'll.  Smiley

I actually just bought suede from Joanns and traced my foot.

I will try to get the link to the pattern.  I believe it costs a little money --- but totally worth it!

I've been working on a rabbit hat with that pattern also!  Thanks for sharing!
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Mukluks! on: March 03, 2011 08:24:31 AM

I made these mukluks last winter for myself.  I found the pattern on ravelry.

They took a good many months, but FINALLY they are done.  I made a pair this winter for a friend also, that I will hopfully get around to posting in this thread later.

Anyone else have any cool mukluks they have knitted?

These glittens were a Christmas present for a friend last Christmas.  They were my second attempt at knitting mittens and they turned out quite nicely Smiley  They only took a couple weeks.  I will throw the pattern up here once I find it --- however I kinda meshed a couple together.
8  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Tutu! on: March 03, 2011 08:21:36 AM

I made this tutu using tule and ribbon as a photography prop.  I just tied the tule to the ribbon!  So easy and cute!
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Baby Shower Invitations on: March 03, 2011 08:19:27 AM

These were made using my new Silhouette cutter!  They are for a friends' baby shower.

I was able to buy an elephant shape and merge the two together to create a card.

Anyone else have a Silhouette?  What cool things do you do with it?
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Animal Hats! on: March 03, 2011 08:14:33 AM
I love how quick these knit up and how cute they are!  I  made them for friends' babies and for photography props.

I'm thinking about adding earflaps and a pompom

I still need two black buttons for the eyes.  Smiley

I also made a bunny hat, but don't have pictures yet.
