1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / A Nightmare before Christmas: Amigurumi on: May 21, 2015 11:16:47 AM
My mother requested Jack & Sally amigurumi dolls for her colleague, a drama teacher who works at her Middle School that is leaving.  Used an old pattern I drafted for amigurumis a while back and winged some bits as I went.

I haven't submitted anything here for quite some time. I feel like I lost my touch and couldn't keep up here on Craftster. Be completely honest, I need to adjust this pattern to create a more accurate Jack & Sally pattern. Undecided Jack & Sally's faces needs work.  Thanks!

2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / World of Warcraft amigurumi: Pandaren Monk on: March 28, 2014 11:00:35 AM
I set out on an adventure of crochet and that of heroes.
I drafted my own rough pattern for a panda and tweaked it a bit to fit my idea.
Her arms are moveable, face is hand painted, and she is anatomically correct. (She has breasts)
I sculpted her armor, buttons, bead necklace and earrings out of wire and polymer clay. Hand stitched her felt monk pajamas.
She was a gift for my sister.

Her close up, and the back to show her hair. My favorite part is her little fingers & her beaded necklace.

Thanks for looking and any comments & crit. For Azeroth!

It's gorgeous and amazing. I imagine my eyes and fingers would be sore to attempt this. Wonderful work!

Everything is beautiful. The hats for charity have a great design, fantasticmio, I love the teal and gray chunky cowl and earrings bunny1kenobi. Dewshinesdopp, your long necklaces look so pretty.

I've missed out on some crafting but I had a death in the family to prepare for. I did make about 35 rosary bracelets for family members who attended funeral services at the request of my mom. Here is a small peak of the colors and kind I made. Every single one is different and is a full rosary on memory wire.
The bracelets took me about 5 days to finish and I made a total of 46, including small versions for little girls.

I also made a hat using yarn my father found for me at savers. Needed something to keep my hands busy in between bracelets. At least they were things on my list.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Knit cable (Long loom) and pattern on: January 18, 2014 01:38:22 AM
That's a lovely color of yarn. My sister will be thrilled about the cables on the loom. She's a little obsessed with the knitting loom at the moment. Thanks for the link.

V3nu5, it's nice of you to craft for your grandma.

Thanks, considering she's the one who taught me to crochet, I feel like i'm giving back. It's almost a given, right?

Finished another project today. Feels really good. A lot is in part due to this thread. Thanks for the motivation all!
Finish slippers for my grandmother. Worked on them off and on for the last 2 weeks. I kept a ball of emerald redheart and a J hook in my purse. I liked having a project with me everywhere I went. They fit her nicely, but she can still wear socks under if she gets cold.
