So, I've been eyeing up this site for a while. I've been kind of intimidated, though, which is the reason for my lack of contribution.  Yesterday was Early Christmas though, and I got a new sewing machine!


After some trouble with the lower thread setting, I made this:


Just a basic printed thermal, and I need to wash it because I stretched it all out as I was sewing, but I think it's alright for my first project since my Home Ec. purse.

And today I made this:


It's a circle skirt.  The heart looks kind of dumb. I'm either going to take it off or stick some smaller ones near it.

I also cut out everything for this really cut dress, but I got really frustrated when I was going to start sewing because there are so many pieces and patterns really confuse me.

Anyway, I just wanted to make my first appearance, and let you all know that you've really inspired me!
