1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Tunic top into cute lacy sailor dress!! PICTURES!!!!!!!!! on: November 30, 2008 11:50:28 PM
]I started out with a navy blue, very plain tunic-style top, and I realized I never wore it, so I decided to turn it into a dress! And since my sewing machine is broken, I unfortunately had to do the whole thing by hand  Sad And of course I didn't take pictures of the before. But here's a couple pictures of essentially what it looked like (except navy) (Click on the pictures to make them bigger )

And I added ribbon, lace, ruffles, and about 6 inches worth of length to the bottom, and voila! Dress!!
Dress on me

Just the dress:

Give me feeback on what you like, don't like, etc! This is my first sewing project, well...EVER. And I had to do it all by hand, so it took forever!!! But let me know what you guys think! Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
