My daughter loves dresses and only ones that are sleeveless, so being that is still winter we do not have a lot of summer clothes yet. Since it was a warm weekend last week I decided to go ahead and design and make her a cute little dress out of her old crib sheets. I traced a pattern for the top part out of an old sundress and then for the bottom skirt part just cut 2  large squares. I traced the arm parts for arm facing and then for the neckline just used elastic for a faux smocking effect. It took about 2 hours and this is the result. She is obviously very pleased! The photos are a  little blurry because asking a 2 year old to stand still is near to impossible.

This is wrapping and bows I did with travel brochures, maps, & even one with the paper photo that comes in picture frames when you buy them.

This was a Jewelry Box I made out of an old wooden Cigar Box and card prints I Had.

This is a Papier-Mache Piggy Bank I made for my daughter out of a 2 Liter Soda Bottle, Newspaper, & Toilet Paper/Paper Towel Rolls. It's cute and holds a lot of change. Only problem is when she decides to spend her money we will have to cut it open and make her a new one.

This was my Husbands Christmas Present I made him this year. It is a leather Ipod Holder with a pocket in back for his money and cards. I put a button in back so that he could hook it on to a belt, jacket or arm band.

This was T-Shirt I made for my daughter. I actually made the pattern myself and thought that it turned out really cute. The neck is larger than most T-shirts because she tends to have a giant head like her Momma & Dada.

These are Canvas Shopping Bags I made for my mother in law for Christmas.

This is Mr. Fancy Pants. To some of you experienced Crocheters he may be  far from perfect, but I thought he ended up looking fairly good considering I have never crocheted before and didn't even use a pattern for him. Anyway, I love him flaws and all, it gives him character. I just thought I would share my proud achievement.

Some lucky family member at my family's Christmas Party will be receiving a gift of these shopping bags I made along with a $20.00 GC and coupons  at a local grocer. I thought this was a good gift for anyone. Who couldn't use $20.00 at the grocery store and there own shopping bags to help reduce the use of the paper and plastic ones.

This Tree was almost free, I think the only thing I actually bought were the lights. I got the tree from my local free-cycle, the ornaments are paper snowflakes I made out of old greeting cards and scrap paper, and pine cones I found and painted silver, and the angel on top I made out of tissue paper from old gifts and old gift ribbon. It's fun to re-cycle.
