Congrats! You'll like rigid heddle weaving...
 Two good books are Betty Davenport's "Hand On Rigid Heddle Weaving" and also her "Textures and Patterns for the Rigid Heddle Loom" (be sure to get the new edition - last year or this year.) The first one can teach you how to use the loom, and the second one will help you weave amazing patterns (you might want to wait to get this one until after you've woven a few projects!) Try Amazon for the first one - you might be able to get a used copy cheap....the second you'll probably have to buy new.  I've woven everything from fabric rugs to shawls to scarves on rigid heddle looms...it's very cool to wear what you've woven and have people ask you where you got your wonderful scarf! Smiley
