We don't usually keep sweets in our house, despite my love for baking.
So when my mom told me we were having guests and that she wants me to make something, I went crazy with happiness.
These are Snow cookies, made from Karin Goren's recipe. They're chocolate cookies with confectioner's sugar on them so you get the cracks effact.
My next batch of cookies is a batch of rose cookies. They got their name for their shape, and are made from yeast dough and meringue. I found them difficult to make, but once their scent started to spread around the house, it made all my efforts worth it.
This is what I made with the leftover dough and meringue -
I made this cupcake cake for a friend's birthday. The cupcakes underneath are chocolate cupcakes and vanilla cupcakes. The frostings are whipped cream and chocolate (instant) pudding cream.
The writing is in Hebrew, and I'm aware that my writing isn't very good, but practice makes prefect!
The writing says "Arik, Happy 16th birthday! "
