11  Re: mohair bunny in Knitting: Completed Projects by Flapperjakk on: December 24, 2004 11:20:41 AM
As a last minute xmas gift, I knitted a bunny. Instead of stuffing, I stuffed it with Lavender so it's kind of an aromatherapy sachet... with just a little stuffing to plump it up. They're sooo cute and fun to make! Thanks for posting the pattern link!

As promised, here's a pic of my wooly pirate's booty from Liberty!

I knitted these while I was away on vacation...

This one's actually a modified version of the Adults-only Devil Hat from Stitch n' Bitch... same hat, I just nixed the horns and tacked on a crocheted flower  Wink

14  Re: Urban Outfitter Scarves! in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by Flapperjakk on: December 11, 2004 01:16:00 PM
I finally finished my urban outfitter's knock off... unfortunately I ran out of pink yarn to crochet all the way around... so I improvised and used green for the other side... I think it looks kind of cool like that though. Anyway, here it is!

Thanks again to everyone who helped me out with the pattern!  Kiss

15  Cable-stitch choker w/ flower in Knitting: Completed Projects by Flapperjakk on: December 11, 2004 01:03:29 PM
I used some zara merino wool I had left over from a scarf I finished crocheting to make this:

CO 8
Row 1: K8
Row 2: P8
Row 3: K2, CB4, K2
Row 4: P8

Repeat 1-4 until desired length around neck

Cast Off, (get your crochet hook) sc in next two spaces, c2, sk 1 sp, sc in next two spaces, and tie off.
Sew a button on opposite end ( I used a small pearl button)... and voila!

Find any flower to crochet and sew on so that when you put on the choker, it'll be to the side. I got snazzy and tacked on a star stud. Enjoy!

 Kiss

16  CHANEL does the crochet thing too! in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by Flapperjakk on: December 10, 2004 06:29:05 AM
I found this Chanel bag in Elle magazine and thought it would be something really great to try and replicate. It looks tough but if anyone's interested in saving a couple grand and helping to come up with a pattern for this gorgeous little thing...  Wink
