Love it so much! Is it gathered and sewn or is it like the no sew tutu skirts that are popular right now?

I spent the past couple weeks working on some new hats. I still have a dozen or so designs in my head so they will all be made shortly. Got a couple of my gal pals together to model for me!

This one features pockets at the end of the arms. Eventually I will make one like this but with more detail (claws and paw prints I think). The pockets have snap closures so that you can put personal belongings in them, or you can use them to keep your hands warm. Alternatively, the arms can be wrapped around your neck like a scarf. This hat is reversible but I forgot to get a pic of it on the reversed side. Maybe later.

This was a fun hat to make. A local body painter wanted to paint a woman as a buffalo and he asked me if I would be able to make a buffalo hat for her to wear. We should be getting together soon so that he can use it and then I hopefully will get some awesome photos from that collaboration. It is the only hood style hat that is not reversible. The horns are just too bulky to tuck in. All of the hood style hats have a snap closure so you can wrap the hat snuggly under your chin for added warmth.

This is probably my new favorite hat to be honest. It took a lot of time to make this. The coloring is hand painted with fabric safe paint and the painting alone took about 30 minutes. The brain detail is 3 dimensional to a point due to padding and sewing over the brain lines.

Teddy bear hat! Again this one is reversible but I forgot to get the inside out shots Sad Anyway, it has a snap closure under the chin as well.

Some random cat and bunny hats:

These cat style hoods are all reversible and have snaps at the bottom. They can even be snapped on the reverse side too!

Another style of hood hat- a wolf in a pretty mottled purple tone. Reversible and has snap closure

And a dinosaur hat- reversible with snap closure

And here is my new style of octopus hat. It has pose-able tentacles Wink

And that's all for now. As always, I welcome comments and critiques! Thanks for looking and I hop you enjoyed them!

Very cool. The pieces are beautiful as are the photographs. I love how you did the horn.

Thanks so much! I've made several in different styles and sizes. The goal is to eventually use them all on different models with different color schemes.

What a fun photoshoot! The pieces are lovely!

Thank you!

how neat!  How did you make the pieces? What kind of material did you use?

The prosthetic pieces are made out of latex and silicone. It's a complicated and long process. I am a makeup artist by trade so it's taken a lot of training to do what I do.

Thanks for the answer.

My pleasure! Smiley

I love fantasy and myths and legends and all the creatures that go with it. So a photographer friend and I teamed up to create some beautiful creatures such as unicorns, nymphs, fauns, and more.

Here are the pieces before application. I made them myself.

Still a ways to go with the prosthetics in this pic but we were well underway.

Thanks for looking. As always, I love comments and critiques! We will be making a tree nymph tomorrow so be on the lookout for those images in the next couple weeks.
