That's got to be THE most creative take on a necklace I've ever seen--very impressive!

I wonder what Santa would make of someone leaving him that as his "milk and cookies", lol?

Awww thanks so much! lol, I'm not sure they would meet his needs that way though. The man goes to millions of children all over the world- I think he needs a high caloric intake for the night to make it through that much work. He might want the real thing haha.

It totally rocks... you really captured the look of milk with the glossiness of it! I've pinned it to the 'jewelry & trinkets' pinboard! Smiley RAAR grr ugggh & unique work!

You got a link to that? I'm just curious where that is at lol. I'm so lost. And thank you very much! I am in love with doing these themed necklaces right now!

Oh my goodness! This is so fun! Is the milk part polymer clay?

Yes, painted after with high gloss polyurethane.

Yet another project where I only got cell phone shots before it was whisked away to a friend. Sorry.

Anyway, I made each of the cookie beads and the center pieces and used a high gloss on the center piece. Yet another piece that I am thrilled with the outcome and can barely wait to see my friend wear it. These themed statement necklaces are really working their way into my heart and I am having a hard time not wanting to spend all my free time making more lol...

My newest fandom themed project Wink

Again, all I took was phone photos before this shipped to a friend for a birthday present. I am severely sad I don't have better photos. And this is just an small photo collage Sad

This took me about 2 episodes of Castle to make (when I watch my shows I get distracted and don't work as fast). It wasn't particularly skill tasking. But the layout of my star/galaxy placement took a bit. And the painting of the TARDIS took a little time because I don't have a super steady hand. Lots of touching up and removing paint and covering and multiple layers haha.

Anyway, I found these fantastic sparkly beads that complimented the large statement piece well. They have an AB finish on one side of them so they are black with a bit of blue/green and gold to them. I imbedded silver micro beads and glitter in the galaxy base and then painted with craft acryllics using my fingers and a toothbrush for splattering. It was a fun project and I loved the end result. I will most likely make another for myself. I can't stand when something turns out this pretty and I can't have it myself lol.

I hope everyone likes it! My friend already said they are thrilled by it lol. Oh, and the windows and the light on the TARDIS are glow in the dark!

Holy crow! You got some mad skills! I can't believe that only took you 5 hours! Of course, I'm a knitter. I measure project time in months.

I third the sentiment that you could sell those. Trouble being, I'm not sure you could really afford to do it- I figured something on the order of $20 an hour, which is $100 without materials. (I would pay the $100 without blinking for a handmade Alien necklace, especially if I was at a con in full fangirl shopping mode! I once spent $25 on Fight Club soap I could have made myself. I was overwhelmed by "OMG that's cool!") $100 does seem to be the tipping point for a lot of people though. If you were going to a con, you'd have other things that were less time-consuming to produce you could make more money on to balance it out.

I'm over-thinking this. I'll go have my morning coffee and be quiet now.

lol I have mad respect to knitters and crocheters. I do not have the patience for that lol. Thank you very much!
