21  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: "I'LL TEAR YOUR SOUL APART... WITH MY CUTENESS!!!!" on: April 22, 2013 09:33:04 PM
Thanks all!

Pls share more info like this.

I used this pattern: http://geekcentralstation.blogspot.com/2008/03/free-pattern-gandalf-and-legolas.html, just keeping the body solid black. I sewed a small piece of plastic canvas to the very bottom of the inside to flatten it out some, and added the small details after I was done with the body. He was actually very easy to make!

That's so funny to me that I came across your lil'Pinhead, because a friend of mine wanted me to make her a Pinhead bunny like the one here (http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/killer-bunnies-tiny-knit-bunnies-are-cute-but-deadly). I just have to get the pins tomorrow and he'll be done too. Smiley

I'd like to see it!!

Honestly, I had no intention of writing the pattern down. BUT since Huskyd's picture is of Prince and Apollonia, I might consider it. It might take me a bit though. Thanks for all the nice comments!

This is the Calcifer I crocheted. Funny story, I met a guy when I started college. We became pretty good friends. About a year later, his wife sent me a message on Facebook asking me to crochet a Heracross (Pokemon) for her to give to him as an anniversary present. I was more than happy to do that for her. Then, not much later, he messaged me and asked if I could make a Calcifer for her anniversary present. This situation was just too cute and perfect.

Anyway, it took me a couple of weeks and a lot of work and frustration. It's about 15 inches tall and 34.5 inches around, measured right under his eyes. My friend likes it and I hope his wife does too.
