I haven't picked up my sticks in a few months, and I'm kind of stuck on the instructions for block one, where it states "Using A, CO 42 sts. Knit 36 garter ridges. BO." I've CO 42 sts and knit 36 garter ridges, but what do I do with the leftover 6 sts? Do I leave them on the needle and bind off the 36 sts, or do I bind all 42 sts off? Heeeeellppp!!!

I did this in a night, modified from samilynn9's  felted clutch ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=30175.0 ).  I added more shaping and used stockinette stitch instead of garter and opted out of the eyelash yarn.  I think if I toss this in the washer it may felt a bit...the yarn is Lion Brand Watercolors #373 Pond Green, which is 65% acrylic and 35% merino. Out of all the Lion Brand I use, I like this the best, along with Cotton Ease

This is my first time posting a completed project, and I'm very happy with how it turned out because I had to frog this thing about 4 times to get everything correct through trial and error.  But it was worth it!

I substituted Austermann Koala in #13 Burnished Apricot instead of the GGH, which I did find online but it was too expensive.  For the ties, I used the Peruvian Collection Highland Wool in Allspice.  (I got it from Elann.com.)

It's so cute, and when I wore it out today I got a compliment from a guy who asked where I got it, and he seemed surprised when I answered that I'd made it.  He asked how, and I said, "Knitting!"  Then he was even more surprised.
