2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Mason Dixon Log Cabin baby blanket question!! on: July 04, 2007 02:50:49 PM
I haven't picked up my sticks in a few months, and I'm kind of stuck on the instructions for block one, where it states "Using A, CO 42 sts. Knit 36 garter ridges. BO." I've CO 42 sts and knit 36 garter ridges, but what do I do with the leftover 6 sts? Do I leave them on the needle and bind off the 36 sts, or do I bind all 42 sts off? Heeeeellppp!!!

Rabideloise:
Where do you live? I was in a Tuesday Morning in Schaumburg, IL, and they had a lot of Pistachio left. They were selling it in bags of 3 for $5.99. If you don't have a Tuesday Morning near you, I will get some and send it to you. IM me if you want...
I live in Texas currently...I just got two skeins of it off eBay from someone here in Texas, but thanks for your offer--I appreciate that!!

I'm so pissed about this because I was in the middle of making a sweater out of Cotton Ease in Pistachio, and now I can't find more yarn for it. Damn.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Hey Craftsters.... What's your favorite kind of knitting needle? Size, Kind. on: June 20, 2005 06:54:36 PM
I love size 8 needles and anything bamboo, like Clover's needles.  For dpns I use Susan Bates and I also use my great-grandmother's knitting needles which are probably anywhere from 30-50 years old.
