Thanks everyone for the comments!! I am also getting ready to reorganize my craft room and have been making more cans. I am going to line them up on small shelves on one wall. Since beginning this thing I have found so many cans in so many shapes and sizes that they can be used to hold anything! My magnets are still holding up on the fridge, however, I  would have to recommend a heavier weight magnet for anything with more weight than a pair of scissors. please post pictures when you finish yours! I would love to see what you have done.!

Thanks everyone for the comments! I kinda thought they might be lame and only I would love them!

I really didn't notice that there were different weights of magnetic strips. I can't remember exactly what these are , but I do remember that the number was really low ( I want to say 2) I am only keeping very light things in most of them, but it has had no problem holding my pens and pencils.

Hope I posted this in the right place!
These took me less than 10 minutes and I love them!!
I just came from the recycling center so I ran out of cans, but trust me there will be hundreds more made soon!
Just clean the can and remove the paper, apply your favorite scrap book paper, and add a magnetic strip to the back!
