I've been busy with work and getting back in to school so I haven't had the chance to do much sewing, painting or crafting. This is my first completed project of the year.
I've seen some shirring tutorials on crafty blogs and an episode of Thread Banger. It's hard to find elastic thread here, but I managed to get some and this is my first attempt.
Beautiful!!! I usually do the more Indian paisley designs, but you've made me want to go out and get some henna powder so I can work on the more geometric moroccan designs. That's a really dark stain too.
