Oops... those pics are pretty small.  Here's a better closeup.

Sorry it took me so long to respond.  I'm pregnant and now whenever I have extra time I tend to sleep rather than craft Grin

Here's the original pic I took of my foot on my digital camera.  I tweaked the color a bit to make it more greenish before printing.

I ended up using the modpodge glue technique in the top left and bottom right portions of this piece.

Here's a closeup of the bottom right section...

I made this after reading Karen Michel's book (as anyone who has read her book can probably tell) so sorry if it looks a little copy cat-ish.  It's a tribute to my flat feet.  My hubby told me that I have foot pain because I have such small feet... too much PSI (pounds per square inch)... he's a math guy so he actually did a percentage comparison of the PSI on his feet (men's size 12) vs my feet (women's size 6).  Goof.

3  First felted purse... turned out pretty funky! in Knitting: Completed Projects by redpurse on: April 11, 2005 07:54:47 PM
Here is my first attempt at felting.  I got some wool/acrylic blend on sale at my LYS and gave it a whirl.  I knitted it on size 10 1/2 circulars and got the shape because I was afraid it was turning out too huge so I just decreased a bunch of stitches half-way up the purse.  I made two I-cords and twisted them for the handle.  The closure is just a rectangle with a buttonhole knitted on one side.  I felted the closure seperately and sewed it on later. I think I'm going to sew up the buttonhole though and put a magnetic snap on the flap because the button is stretching out the buttonhole already.  Anyway, hope you like it!

This is my first attempt at posting pics so hope I did it right.  These are some altered photos I've been working on for a journal for my sis.  Would love feedback as I just moved and haven't made real, live friends to show stuff to yet... and my husband thinks I'm just "ruining" perfectly good photos Smiley
