hey that jillybeads site is amazing. I think those kits are excellent value for £. almost wish i hadnt already bought my mum her xmas prezzies cos she would love a kit to fiddle around with! great tut.
does any1 reckon you could still actually use the solder on the cd case rather than the glass (cany get hold of glass)? i know theres the risk of melting the cd but if ur extra careful with the copper tape etc...maybe ill try. just watch me come back here and say i melted everything.
im from the UK and having real trouble finding glass slides... apparantly theres a dollshoue maker near us so ill look there, but theres none in the art shops and i dont fancy buying a huuuge box from some scientific site.
i lurve making handmade paper, ripping it up, stitching itn back together again-its so much fun and its messy! anyways...ive made "paper" out of silk fibres, and depending on the amount of water and stuff you use, you get different textures and finishes. it can either be almost fabricy, very soft and silky, or it can be more sturdy and flat. its good though...i want that book!
