1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Where to find canisters... on: November 21, 2008 12:35:04 PM
I posted this elsewhere, but haven't gotten any responses yet... I'm not entirely sure where this post should fall....

I have an idea to make treat jars (filled with treats, of course) for myself and friends& their doggies for xmas.  I was thinking that I could find just a plain, ceramic jar/ canister and paint is a la Martha Stewart's dot-painted china, where you use enamel paint, bake it, and its done.  I can't find PLAIN jars or canisters ANYWHERE.  Any suggestions?  I can be pretty much any color, but with no unusual shape.  Just kind of a regular kitchen canister- cylindrical with a normal little top.  THey sell candles in these things, but they don't sell them empty anywhere I've looked or googled.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
