2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Textured purse on: October 11, 2005 01:22:02 PM
That's beautiful! And it's amusing how your signature says "Doing my best to rid the world of beige" but that photo makes your purse look beige (if it isn't actually). Wink
3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: PATTERN-Amigurumi Animals...now with more patterns on: October 08, 2005 08:39:05 PM
Thanks so much for the patterns - now I know what everyone is getting for x-mas.

Curious though - what does "Amigurumi" mean? Or is it just the style of crafted animal? Wikipedia doesn't have an article for it yet...

Wow! That looks great! Amazing work for your second project. Are those roses 3-D? Where is the pattern from?

Size 10 you say?! hehe now I shall try this too! but I am too lazy to make it stiped.

You could try stripey or camoflauge yarn. I also hate stripes unless I'm knitting in the round and don't have to sew the ends in.

Looks great! Is the muraled room (with jungle) your office? I love it! The only thing I'd suggest is making the main section a touch bigger.

10  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Consignment Shops/Distros on: December 04, 2003 02:08:25 PM
Hi all!

I really want to start selling my goods year round (I do the flea market in the summer) but with school and work I think the best way to go would be to consign my stuff or sell through a distro.

Any experiences/advice/suggestions of good businesses?

I make beaded jewellry and knitted and crocheted stuff.
