I received from both Kitty Herman & euphemasaurus today.

Both went with my tiki/luau/hawaiian them & euphemasaurus also made some for my pirate theme

Kitty Herman sent a tiki & an itty bitty heart

Euphemasaurus sent thongs (you guys call them flip flops though don't you?), a pineapple top & bottom, and a build a pirate set

Thank you both! I love them all
2  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: Calling all Aussies on: March 16, 2014 04:18:12 PM
I'm in Vic.
I do machine embroidery, sewing, crochet & dabble in papercrafts

Like nilmerg said most of us have backed off swaps a far bit with life getting so busy & the postage costs are getting really high. So I only do small swaps here & there now

One I mounted, one I didn't. They let me send the unmounted one as a letter, I had to pay parcel rates for the mounted one.
The one I did cost over $15 AUD to post
The one I didnt cost just over $2 AUD to post

Well....Surprise for me in the mail Smiley
That was some speedy Australian mail service...

I'll say. That has to be the quickest postage ever from here to the US. I was expecting it to be another couple of weeks

And the really freakishly fast shipments happen when there's too much to fit in the container and the overflow is sent by air even though you've only paid for surface mail.

I never send sea mail. It's only $4 cheaper than the budget airmail, but it takes 2-3 months as opposed to 3-10 days.

I'm the same. I think all the Aussie Craftsters I know always send by air

Very nice.

I ended up buying a whole new carving kit. My carving tools weren't in the best condition. And it arrived today. It came with 2 tools, a rubber stamp block & some other bits and pieces. I can't wait to start!
